clay Classes
☼ All Classes are offered on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays and meet once a week.
☼ No previous experience is needed.
☼ All Materials are included.
☼ Paid sessions include access to Open Studio for additional practice.
The studio is open for your use at anytime outside of scheduled class times.
There is no instruction during Open Studio, this is your time to work independently.
Throwing on the Potter’s Wheel
Have you always wanted to try your hands on the spinning potter’s wheel? This class is for you. We will start from the beginning and learn the basic techniques of making, glazing and firing pottery. More advanced students will move beyond the basics and focus on more complex forms and techniques.
(age 16 and up) Fee: $150 (8 week sessions)
Classes Start on Tuesday or Wednesday
Section 1-A: 5:30 - 7:30pm (Tuesday)
Section 1-B: 9:00 - 11:00am (Wednesday)
Hand-building
Using our best tools (our hands) this introductory class will explore working
with clay through pinch, coil and slab hand-building techniques.
(age 16 and up) Fee: $150 (8 week sessions)
Classes start on Tuesday or Wednesday
Section 1-A: 5:30 - 7:30 pm (Tuesday)
Section 1-B: 9:00 - 11:00 am (Wednesday)
Open Studio Monthly Pass
If you have previously taken a class with us you can opt for Open Studio. The fee is $60 a month and does not include the cost of clay or instruction. You are able to use the studio at anytime outside of scheduled classes.
Classes For Kids!
Children’s Classes are arranged individually.
$25 per student for two fun sessions
Session 1: Create! (1 1/2 hrs)
Session 2: Decorate! (1 hr)
(A minimum of 3 students or a fee of $75)
Private Lessons
One-on-one instruction is available to students who want to explore particular skills. The fee is $35 an hour for individual instruction.
